First time out of the vault
Ok I've tried to search around, but couldn't find anyone with my problem. So I hope somebody can help me.
I'll try to explain to the best of my abilities.
The game loads up just fine. It's when the charecter is created and the games starts up just outside the vault the problem occures. A soon as the charecter moves, or any of the rats, the screen turns black, only highlighting the areas where motion occures. If I drag the mouse around, the background appears, but disappears soon after again. This contimues to occure.
I've tried the install suggestions from NMA. Both by copying the things from the cd-rom, and with the compability mode on the setup program.. I've tried the compatibility with both the win95 and the win98. I\ve tired to change the art cache size . I've shut off any taskbar programs running, having only my graphic card and my sound card as icons left.
My computer specs are
1 gig ram
2.5 adm processer
loads of harddisk space
matrox phahilia 64mb graphic card
nvidia build-in soundcard.
Nvidia motherboard.
windows xp professional sp2
