Fallout style Electric Guitar - handpainted

Wasteland Guitars
Greetings, everyone!

I'm thrilled to share one of my hobbies with this fantastic community. I've been a longtime lurker here and a massive Fallout fan. While I typically come from the world of action figures and miniatures, I've recently ventured into the realm of electric guitars which i thought i would love to share with the FALLOUT community.

Inspired by the Fallout games, I've been building and customizing guitars to give them the appearance of having survived a nuclear apocalypse. These guitars are intentionally designed to look super rusty and distressed, but it's important to note that I'm not aiming for a realistic relic or aging effect. Instead, I'm just having a blast creating guitars with a post-apocalyptic style.

Recently, I completed a genuine Fallout-themed guitar, entirely hand-painted to achieve the rusty appearance. There's no actual rust on this guitar; it's simply achieved through numerous layers of paint. So, rest assured, no tetanus shots are required to handle this one!

AND THEY ARE ABSOULUTELY PLAYABLE

Would love to hear your opinions

Dude, THIS IS AWESOME! I'm actually kinda angry at myself for not knowing about your work sooner, oh I'm DEFINITELY going to be sharing these on other SM platforms.

:ok:

Thank you very much! That's very kind.
I'm quite new to "the guitar game" ... so i guess my work isn't THAT easy to find :D

And @Mr Fish yes. of course. I don't make a lot of guitars... but each of them is handpainted...
I use a variety of techniques as well as colors, including alcohol-based, acrylics, and stains. Each individual component gets its own specific treatment. I treat metal parts differently than wooden ones and pickups. Components that experience more stress are coated differently compared to those under less strain.
