Fallout system.... definate stats?

What I mean by that is that quite a lot of the stats and things in Fallout, the manual doesn't quite tell you how the game derives them. It sometimes does, but not all the time. Stuff like, "what exactly does luck do".
I want to know how it comes up with *all* the numbers used in the game. I'm toying with the idea of running a table top roleplay game using the same system, you see (Vault UK, sticking something in the borders, having the UK part of the US when war broke out, but no brotherhood, and, well, it would take too long to explain).
I think I could figure out all the numbers, eventually, given some time, but I was hoping there was somewhere either at interplay or another website that told you already. And, y'know, all the gun stats, critters and suchlike.
Thanks all.

All you really need to do is go into the character screen and click on the skills. Starting hit points is

2x End + Str

You get 1/2 End for each level thereafter. Luck determines certain skills, critical hit chance and special encounters. It's all pretty much in there if you look for it.

Luck affects a LOT of things actually. In Fallout and Fallout 2, it's pretty much the uber-stat since it gives a bonus to pretty much all the behind the scene things in the game.

Well, some people might argue with me over the "uber-stat" status of it, but I always dump some in to Luck. You can tell a difference between a high luck and a low luck character if you play both.
