Fallout Tactics..

Hey everyone.. I bought Fallout Tactics and beat it, and it was alright. Storyline was alright, everything else was good too.

But I went to multiplayer, and logged into GameSpy Arcade with it and saw people playing Fallout Tactics: RPG.. I was like .. WTF?

I'm not sure if I should stick to the regular Fallout Tactics games or try RPG, it sounds promising.. (Fallout DID start out as a RPG)

What do you guys think?

Oh yeah, I also found some website with the RPG maps if you any of you want to try:
Code:
www.darkmercs.azscan.com

I actually played FoT (Fallout Tactics) online until just a few months ago when it stopped working for me. The 'RPG' games are fun at first, but quickly get boring because so many people join the game just to ruin everyone else's fun. Instead of being a true RPG type setting it's more something the players created and instead of just going around fighting eachother you talk and interact. You can own a gunshop, bar, be a police officer, or be in the mafia (among other occupations) and it's actually pretty fun. Definetly worth a try.

Roleplaying games in FoT is actually pretty damned awesome as long as nobody ruins it, i havent played in a while and have been trying to install (wont work now). It has many possibilities, as many as the map maker imagines, from gun shops to police, mafia, and military. its all quite fun, and trying to be what it should have been to start out as, well, kinda.

you can check out my website at www.ninjaweb.tk for maps info and more, havent updated in a while, but i plan to soon as i can get that damned install to work.

also as the number of people dwindle down in the fot room in gamespy we are needing new people to come and check it out.

also if ur gonna play online you will NEED the 1.27 patch, if u bought the game recently instead of when it came out, it may already be patched, so check if it is.

PS (yo farva)

One correction: Fallout did not start out as RPG, it still is an RPG.
FOT and FOPOS were spin-offs, although that's stretching the definition a bit. FOPOS was more of a rip-off than a spin-off.
