Now wouldn't that be nice? Yeah I know, people would think it's a Mad Max clone but I really don't think Mad Max revealed much about the past plus it was all in australia and there wasn't enough stuff from the pre-bomb era. Still a good movie.
A good fallout script would introduce how the war started similar to the intros of FO1 and FO2 but with real video instead of a slide show, oh and the guy who did the voices for the FO1 and FO2 intro should do it for the movie, he conveys a creepy sadistic tone.
Intro: A mistunderstanding between the 2 power countries of the cold war period could have ignited a nuclear war, somewhere around the 1950s. Like that one old old movie Fail Safe (or Red something, i don't remember the name well) where the Americans accidentally launched a nuclear attack on Moscow thinking the Soviets had done the same. You would have had to see the movie to understand what I'm saying, or else it probably sounds stupid.
Well any how the movie ends by the american jets, who no longer responded to their superiors because they though the soviets had tapped into the radio frequency, dropping a-bombs on Moscow, so the americans tried preventing an all out war by letting the Soviets bomb a large city in the U.S. I know it sounds stupid but I can't explain it well, go rent it or something. It's really good.
After the bomb: You could branch out here, either go with the vault story (FO1) or go with a top side story (FO2). I think it would be cool if the two stories combined. Let's just say that the vault opened up after 30 years, so it would be somewhere around 1985 and technology has basically been frozen in time for that duration. Now someone has to think of a real good reason why the vault opened up...
here's a list of actors that would be nice to have in the movie
Bruce Willis - NPC or someone of importance at a village or town, possible a BOS guy.
Sameul L Jackson - found in the remenants of an urban area, Reno perhaps. perhaps a bounty hunter.
Clint Eastwood - village elder or a vault guy that knows the pre-war technology
Joe Kucan - the bald guy from the CnC series should play the role of raider leader
Racheal Leigh Cook (from 'get carter') - should be raider chick with a mohawk
Jeri Ryan - should be a BOS chick
