Fallout TV Series season 2 teaser for a trailer

Seems they are going with the idea that New Vegas was nuked post... New Vegas

... I want to say I am surprised, but I am not.

Rebuilding civilizations? Pfff.

World after apocalypse recovery? No, people live in scraps for 200 years and build homes around nukes

Fallout concept as a whole reduced to mobile-tier garbage of POWAH ARMOUH and whatever Todd is snorting.

At least we still have got Fallout 1,2, Tactics and New Vegas. The only real entries

Does anyone have that image where Todd comes in from the east to clean away all the west coast? And he talks about replacing the ncr and legion with BoS.

To be fair, while it's easy to shit on Todd and Bethesda, Chris Avellone himself wanted to see New Vegas nuked. His idea of Fallout was that it would just be nuked before it's had time to fully rebuild.
The end of lonesome road was a compromise, allowing you the chance to blow up a piece of the NV map.

I think that's my problem with the TV show and why I tend to place it outside the main Fallout canon, the BOS shouldn't be a major part of the show at this point. New Vegas established that they would essentially become non-existent due to their isolationist ways.
If anything, the NCR should have played a much larger role, essentially replacing the role of the BOS.

Also, a part of me thinks the show takes place in the West Coast because no one can really do anything with Bethesda's contributions to the East Coast. What you going to do a Season of TV on? The Railroad?
Honestly, the show should have just taken place in Texas, set it enough away from the rest of the series that you can do your own thing, but close enough to the core region that you can implement ideas from it

All this just opens up the West Coast to become like the east, it took Bethesda almost 30 years, but they've finally "beaten" Interplay. I know this is a tired quote but it's still relevant "evil cannot create anything new they can only corrupt and ruin good forces have invented or made" (Which technically isn't even a quote but a paraphrasing of Tolkien and his views on the orcs and elves.

You know this show is just gonna have whats her face and Walter Goggins walk across the US to get to the East Coast where the real Fallout games take place. That way we can catch up with the interesting factions that Todd spawned like those slaver guys in the mini mall, The Mini Men and The Institute who it turns out were the enclave the entire time.

The leak is that Fallout 5 is going west coast IIRC.
