Fallout US vs UK version?

I recently noticed that the Fallout Collection I got is really UK version, given that it is GSP/white label. Are there any differences in the gameplay or mechanics or other things compared to US version I should know about?

I am also wondering why there is a Fallout patch 1.1 on bonuses section of disk when it reads 1.2 at the bottom of the main screen.

UK version removed children from the game. Fan made patches can put them back in.

IIRC, the UK version also lacks the .223 pistol's "BOOMclick" sound.

Do these patches work with existing saves?

Probably not, but there's a converter for the US version, as far as I remember.
