LittleNickey informed us that the Fallout Yurop project is not quite dead, but rather undead (which basicly means, no one is working on it but they do intend to). LittleNicky emailed Shigor (Project Leader) and asked what the status of the project was and here's the answer:<blockquote>Well, technicaly it's more or less undead - although there's still some minor work being done, the development almost stopped. I still hope to kick it alive, but first I have to deal with some personal stuff.</blockquote>My only question would be, how many are working on it now and do they need help (as I'm sure quite alot would be willing to help out).

Games made by a couple of people are usually way to ambitious and thats why they fall apart, but hey what do I know? Im just a newb.....

This is just a mod, not a game...

However, you're free to make a few such remarks to mobilise the guys in the Bourgeoisie: Pearl of the Wastelands forum ;)

Anyway, Yurop sure did seem to have a lot of good stuff behind it. Check out the screenshots on the website. Some of the makers do what they do on the mod for a living (DJBoomer is a DTP artist, if I'm not mistaken, and Shigor's a professional developer).

Pretty sad to see the thing stagnate, really.
 
I already told the guys at Bourgeo....fuck I cant spell it! But they informed me that they could pull it off. I cant wait.
 
I should see if they can't help Fan Made Fallout with our talking heads... When the time comes for that, that is.
