First time out of the vault
Hello.
First, I am playing with the german Version, patched to 1.02d, but the game itself says it's 1.01 (bottom right of main menu screen). But the resolution patcher says "US 1.02d detected".
I am a little confused abaout this
I have a problem with the children patch from the downloads section:
I unpacked the files to the data/art/critters directory following the instruction of the readme of the childrens patch, but this seemed to be wrong because I don't see any children in the game, even if I start a new game (and move to The Den where should be children).
And now for the resolution patch:
I installed it obviously succesfully, but it doesn't do anything in the game. The resolution is the same as before the patch.
The f2_res.ini is set to AUTO_SCRN_SIZE = 1 and SCR_WIDTH = 1024 / SCR_HEIGHT = 768 like my usual resolution, but it doesn't have any effect.
I work with Windows XP, SP2 if that helps.
