FanOut departs, FanMadeFallout pleads for help

DarkUnderlord posted at the Duck And Cover that the FanOut project seems to have bitten the dust, the bulk of the team leaving the project and forsaking it to hang in limbo, according to the posts at their forums.

On a lighter note, the team responsible for Fan Made Fallout say they have completed the background work on the locations, faction and plot and are currently looking to employ help with the actual mapping, writing dialogues and fleshing the mod.

How far was the Fanout project anyways ? It would be such a waste if all the done map got deleted.. (if there are any that is)

is there a chance that the crew that is still around might pick it up ? It's not official dead yet so it's ok that I'm still optimistic right ?

It's possible that some aspect or portion of Fanout lives on in Mutants Rising. I make no promises, and there is the real chance that what I refer to has no true relation to that game beyond a name...

Its the scripting and dialogs that take the time, if you have one little mistake the dialog goes to crap... Then there are the quests as well.... arghh! I should have stuck to modding C&C.

I was thinking that the miss kitty date thing was sorely disappointing so I started modding ... after I got her clothes off I couldn't stop modding ... and still no release she's not high resolution enough and my own AI doesn't turn me on.
