I repeat what I said about police finally getting better non-lethal ranged weapons so they can finally stop killing or severly injuring (and say what you want -- a direct gunshot wound IS severe) people because of a lack of means of avoiding putting their life at risk.

At that point, McIntosh said, the officer shot the student.
