I wanted to ask if the super mutants have any kind of base resistances to dmg? Im looking forward to play as one using race mod but in game he has no resistances just as regular humans. Maybe some of you familiar with mods could check if any regular super mutants with no armor have any kind of resistance. If yes could you post them here? I will be then able to edit my main character from there on.
Also if any of you have alredy played using a super mutant could you share your opinion about it? I believe its easier to just play as human as they get better armor and more perks but the game itself is too easy to begin with so im looking for a diffrent aproach to it.
I just checked and the Mutants are exactly the same as Humans, no extra HP, armor, perks, etc... The Mutants seem tougher but that's because they normally have better weapons and are higher levels than your normal foe.
My opinion on Mutants are: there slow and not useful for anything but holding equipment and a .50 cal Browning.
Here is a HP Calculate Chart i made for beginners and for people looking to play through Tactics again, i think you mite find it useful.
Ok so i guess the first mission hes just gona stand behind and watch everything happen around him Is there a way to change character movement speed? Its kinda strange that super mutants being taller and more muscular than humans move slower.
AP = action points? If yes then i wont use it because its not worth giving a character bonus AP and make him overpowered just to make him run a bit faster. Well i guess ill have to get used to waiting for my mutie to join the party as last

Editing super mutants runing speed in sprite creator wasnt complicated at all Now my mutie runs as fast as all human soldiers. I believe im going to regret this change when i get rushed by some granade or melee mutant but whatever Anyways thank you for guiding me to means of solving my problem (sprite creator program ).
I opened mutant and armored mutant sprites using sprite creator then found runing animation and increased step size for each frame from 0,35 to 0,5. Human runing animation has exactly 0,5 step size on each frame so i made it even with those of mutants. And maybe i didnt do it correctly but it sure does work
One more quick question: why does multiplayer version of super mutant have base damage resistance of 25%? I used multiplayer character creator to plan my main character. Does multiplayer have diffrent rules than base game?
Yup you did it correctly faster than i expected but now i can see your not as much of a noob as i thought you where.
Yes multiplayer version of super mutants and special campaign super mutants have damage resistance of 25%, i checked the normal NPC versions.
Also depends on perks, cant tell what campaign specific mutes have.
