They look nice, even though (as far as I know) it is made by indie developers. (indie=less money=no mainstream supa engine)

Finally a game where I can walk through some high grass. All this years..

I don't like the ui and the green focus notifier.
There is probably a lot more things I shouldn't like but hey, they got high grass! So I won't look for more.

Nice!

Jesterka - setting of New Dawn is several (hundreds of?) years after the apocalypse happened; I call it "thundarresque" ;) Research the earlier posts here on that.

Good to see some nice graphic.
Recall some Ultima, NWN and Oblivion from top-down.

Any chance I can get more info on it? Release date? Gameplay? What do you want.

This and after fall are going to rock imho.
Plus there's Jazz Hired guns demo...what a nice year

It's a shame the game doesn't look to be that nice in terms of gameplay (from what the site tells, I mean). Realtime/turnbased switch (there goes tactics flying out of the window) and t3h epiczorz... well, only time will tell. Still, I'm looking forward to this.

realtime/turnbased switch could work... but it's extremely hard to balance.
That's precisely my point. And why do most indie developers fail? One important reason is the lack of game balance. What do you think the odds are for New Dawn?

I like the music :)

The artwork looks very good to me too.

So, it will come down to other things -- like story, game play, interface, etcetera.

BTW, I'm not interested in true real-time.

However, turn-based, rule-based combat disguised as real-time by letting the turn-based action roll on continuously (under AI control) until the player hits the pause key (and issues commands to the PC and party-member NPCs) is fine -- I play lots of crpg like that.

Looks fantastic! I can't wait.

So now there's this, AoD and Afterfall (and Wasteland 2?) to look forward to. kewl.

My only problem with ND is the website. I mean, it looks great but it's not very "work friendly". My boss nearly caught me today. ;)

Looks very nice .I also like the music.don't know, but somehow the renders and artworks remind me of "Dark Earth" although Dark Earth was more Post Apocalyptic/Steam Punk .

I did not feel totally immersed when I saw the screenshots.
lulz, everyone knows immurshun requires first person perspective.

I hope they let us into the 'universe' with they perspective they have. But wtf mates? Old Dawn used an isometric view!!111111

Seriously though, it looks pretty cool. Concept art is the bomb diggity and the screenshots aren't bad. I hate their website though.
