I'll have to say this. I just bought FO2 a week ago (or was it 2 weeks ago...) and so far I've just found the Power Armour in the Military Base. The one thing I liked about it was that in FO1 Power Armour made you invincible but in FO2 straight out Power Armour isn't that good (better, but not invincible). Now, it was quite some time until I found the Power Armour and I am yet to work out how to upgrade it (don't worry though, I'll find out how). So in terms of playing it the first time, finding it is okay. But yes, when I start over and play the game again I'll go straight for it. Of course, this is the problem with replaying any game. I mean, you know what to do. next time I play, I won't be f**king around in New Reno, Redding, Modoc and so on...
But I agree, making it hard to get the GOOD stuff will add alot of re-playability to the game. (One thing I personally hated was the Tommy Gun. It's not that great if you've already got a better weapon when you find it. And I soooo looked forward to using it but I didn't 'cause it was my first time I'm not gonna get a crap gun and try and take on a real tough bad ass)
Incidentally has anyone played "The Sims"? I reckon that in FO3 the cut-away should be like in the Sims. You see, when your guy goes into a room the whole rooms walls disappear. Which makes it realy easy to see stuff in the corners etc... A similar system for FO3 (instead of that crappy circle thing which makes everything disappear), would be much appreciated.
