So. Flares. They actually good for anything other than lighting up a few hexes for a while?
 
I think if you throw a flare in an enemy, and when you go shoot, the dark penality is erased and you get a normal shot, I don´t know if i´m crazy or what, because one time I was with 42% of chance to hit, than just for fun i throwed a flare on my enemy, then when i try to shoot again, i see 52%! I don´t know if is true, but...

Well, another good thing I like to do with flares... get so much flare, save, and start killing children with them! eh eh eh, make them suffer with only 1 or 2 HP per time! This is Insane and obrigatory when i´m playing with a Bad Person!

Well, there's that, but once you've specialised in, say, the small guns weapon skill and heaped loads of skill points in it, you can pretty much de-stone an olive at five hundred yards range and at midnight anyway. Besides, those enemies have this nasty habit of moving out of the convenient patch of light, too. ;)

That is... pretty mean I have to admit. Tried pumping them full of jet, too? ;)

Taking up valuable inventory space...

I just carry them around to use as trade early on in the game.
 
Useful for throwing into someone's ass then shooting the enlightened guy - bigger chance to hit when he's full of light.

This is not really related, but I think if you set the timer on some dynamite and let the children in the Den steal it, then the bastards get blown up. :twisted:

Does this give you the child-killer trait? You didn't technically kill them, they just stole your set dynamite....
 
Put everything in your inventory in the trunk of the car, they will steal the dynamite/plastic explosives if it's the only thing your carrying. It hilarious.
