Hi

How do I change the floating text on Companions in Fallout 2 ?

I believe it's in their dialog MSG files, which you can edit with notepad. DATA/Text/English/Dialog folder.
 
Once you find what you want to change, there shouldn't be too much difficulty. I've changed a lot of the dialog myself.
