FO mapper brightness

hey there!

i have a small problem: My ancient monitor is really dark, i can barely see FO with brightness to the max, unfortunately, there doesnt seem to be that option in the official mapper and for some reason, software based adjustment through the video driver wont affect FO software.

so, any ideas if theres some rough manual way to get it brighter or some way to make it work with the gfx driver/display panel?


been using that fan made mapper but it seems to have limited options and installing the map is quite hard compared to the official one.
 
Powerstrip. There's a number of different versions floating around the web. Whichever one you can find with a crack to keep it from expiring after so many days is perfect. I'm using 3.63 if that helps. There's quite a few features, but I tend to use it for on the fly gamma/brightness tweaking through configurable hotkeys.

I also have to use it in Fallout 1/2 because the brightness is out of wack. Although it doesn't always work ingame. You have to alt tab out, increase gamma a few times with Pstrip, then tab back in.
