FO - Merchants & no new items ...

Version 1.2:

I am replaying again after a long time and I do not remember this problem: the merchants are not replenishing their stock ... I remember this as an issue in FO2, but my memory of FO this seems odd. I now have 10k caps and no where to buy ammo and such ... any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!

Merchants in Fallout never replenished stock, they only generated money. If you give them money, and then they generate some, they'll get the ammount they generated, and yours will go away. In Fallout 2 merchants restock. After the patch, they restock even more!

Thanks Lord 342 - I remembered this as well - what was confusing me is I thought that it was the General Store I got books from and could not figure out why they were not replenishing ... it was ot until I remembered the Librarian did it all become clear

There may be one Merchant somewhere who gets a few select things in, but you want to check Per's guide to be sure.
