So I've just tested it, and rats don't attack you.

Does this also apply to mantis, radscorpions and deathclaws?

I know the perk is next to useless, but I'm still interested.

All 'natural' critters dont attack you, masters pets do still, I forget if the masters pets in random encounters will or wont, however IIRC they WILL when they spawn with supermutants.
