[FO1] Backpacks

Backpacks

I found a backpack and a bag in the lower level of the library in the Boneyard... cant get anything out of the backpack... what gives?

Oh i know....i hate that....you gotta screw around with it till you can drop it or get the stuff to stay while you bring it out of that submenue thingie...i never use those things....like the coin bag.....they all suck.....someone else will know a better way than me......wait ....i hear JR's name being called....JR where are you????.....really....JR is one of the best gurus at this site.

Backpacks, ugh, i hate those things. Never use 'em myself but you have to 'use' it inside your inventory. You will go to the backpack inventory and then you have to drop everything inside. Point the mouse cursor with the hand icon then hold your mousebutton and select the drop icon. After that you have to pick it up from the ground.
So, know i'm going to smoke my stinkweed pipe like every good guru :D.

The only thing good about the backpacks is that they can work like coin bags, and this I think is useful when you are making large price transactions. Just put lots of gold in a bag and sell the bag off when you are buying something big (like the rocket launcher).

Good luck, generally these things should be avoided.

Just for fun... There is a container (a backpack, IIRC) in Junktown that has ~100 caps, if memory serves me right.

to out of a bag or backpack: "use" it, then drag the items to the picture of the container(it's where you're picture is usually shown)

Hmmm i have tryed them once but the stuff dosent stay in them they sukk...

They´re only good for customizing inventory, putting drugs in one bag, guns in another and such.
