[FO1] Big weapons, wee!

I finished my previous FO1 runthrough using energy weapons, so I thought I'd try with big weapons, and already I'm having a blast! One you get big weapons, you can't go back to small.

The minigun feels so much more... destructive.. than the alien blaster or turbo plasma rifle. Butchering numerous enemies with one volley of bullets, watching their limbs and heads get blasted off. Wiping out a deathclaw in one critical hit for 735 damage.

Anyway, I'm thinking of getting Bonus ranged damage perk so that I can deal an extra 32 damage per burst. Good idea? Yay or nay.

Oh, and I just obtained the rocket launcher. Should be good against heavily armoured opponents which the minigun isn't so good against.

I am the apocalypse! Hahha, I love this game.
 
Yeah, my minigun sort of faltered with the mother deathclaw due to her high armour rating. Works fine against mutants, though.

I'm always a little hesistant to apply unofficial patches. It almost feels like cheating.

And I haven't had the chance to choose action boy yet. I have the Night Vision, Bonus ranged damage and Bonus Fire rate perks. The bonus ranged damage perk significantly increases my minigun damage.
