[FO1] Buying multiple items and taking all

G'day guys,

I've played fo2, but finally picked up fallout 1 at a garage sale, and am just going through it.

Just a couple qs on the interface -- trading a number of the same item (e.g. 1000 coins) in fo2, the counter would accelerate as you held down the arrow. My copy of FO1 doesn't seem to do this. This makes getting to 300 bottle caps and exercise in tedium. Is this a bug in my game, or is this general. I think my game says patch 1.2

Also, is there a way to take all items when looting?
