goals after the water chip is found?

What are the goals after the water chip is found???? I'm wandering around aimlessly killing everything in my path. Which is not all-together boring, but I need direction.

1. Join the Brotherhood and talk to the NPCs inside the Brotherhood.
2. If you have not done so yet, free the initiate held captive in the Hub's Oldtown. This will let you get power armor, which will make the rest of the game much easier.
3. Explore the Boneyard and the Cathedral south of the Boneyard.



** SPOILERS **



You have two main goals remaining:

a) destroy the military base to the northwest of the Brotherhood (get the location by using science skill on a computer in the Cathedral vault)

b) destroy the Cathedral south of the Boneyard (a number of different ways to approach this mission)
