[FO1] Problem with perforamnce.

Hello

Today i reinstalled Fallout 1 on my pretty old PC for today standards. I have Athlon 2GHz,1GbRAM and GeForce 6200. So I installed it, downloaded 1.3 unofficial patch and started the game.

When I created my character and found myself near entrance to Vault 13 i noticed that the game performance was very low, and framerate was around 10-15 FPS I think.

So I am asking for help because it the game should run smoothly. I don't have problem with other games like F.E.A.R or Jagged Alliance 2 or WoW, so I think this is some game problem and maybe someone from this forum knows how to solve it.

I downloaded engine tweaks for XP and Windows 2000 from NMA now, and problem with performance was solved when the game started to using 8 bits.

But now i have some other problem. The game is so dark even on brightness level set to max that i can't see anything in caves or at night.

Is there any way to increase manually level of brightness in Fallout 1?
