RE Quests

How do you "bust the Skulz gang" in Junktown. I've tried killing them off, talking to varies members and talking to Tycho about thembut it doesn't work. Can anyone help? Also, is it worth it to give yourself more time to find the chip by talking to the water merchants? Plez, as few spoilers as possible. Thanx, and see you in the wastes!

Go to the skulz clubhouse and ask them if you can join them. Perform the task they give you. After that you'll be a member and they're gonna take you to the bar for a job. Tell them you need some time and then talk to the leader of the deputies.

If you want to make this less violent do this:
Talk to a female Skulz member (ahhh, cant remember her name),talk her out of the gang. After a few days visit her again and tell her to betray her former friends. Then go to Lars.

I've never been able to do that

What's the speech/intelligence requirement for this?

I am not sure. I think I had an IN of 8 or 9, CH of 2 (!) and speech skill of over 100%. It may not work at the first time so its best you save the game before that. Ive found out that speech skill is most important to make this work.
