Teleported from Necropolis to Mariposa Military Base!!! WHAT
I need someone to tell me if this was supposed to happen. I can't find it in any of the walkthroughs.
I was in Necropolis. I spoke to Set and he sent me to kill the super mutants at the water shed.
I snuck by some of the mutants at the water shed and ended up speaking to their leader. (I guess. He was like a doctor with a british accent. He was animated. You could watch his face as he talked) He kept talking about Lou and (I forget the conversation thread but he knocked me out and took me to Lou)
Next thing I now I'm talking to another intellegent HUGE mutant and he is trying to get me to tell him where my vault is. I kept refusing and kept punching me down till I was almost dead. Then he takes all my stuff and locks me up in a cell.
Luckily Ian was carrying extra armor and my Rocket Launcher I got from the Gun Runners in the Boneyard. So I re-arm and proceed to get in some pretty harry fights with the huge mutants.
To shorten this long story, I was in the Mariposa Military Base!!
I wacked the Lieutenant (which was not easy! I'll tell you how later in this long winded story) and escaped after setting the base to explode. I go out into the desert and I'm WWWAAAAYYYYY up North West of everything. Looking at the walktrhoughs (this is the first time I've played Fallout and I only look at the Walkthroughs for a little guidance - like now...) I come to the conclusion that I was at the Mariposa Military Base.
Was that supposed to happen???
Anyone heard of that??

(How I killed the Lieutenant)
I used a lot of drugs to boost me up. (now I'm an addict)
One of them was a super soldier serium stuff and that put my agility at 10.
I used the rocket lancher and dynamite and plastic explosives to kill him and the other two mutants with him.
Every turn I went into my inventory set a bomb to 20 seconds and reloaded my bazooka. I droped the bomb and backed off. I also used my stimpacks to bring my health all the way back up. I think I used about 30 in that one battle
As they stepped closer to me the bomb would go off and knock them back and stun them. I think that made it so they did not shoot me as much.
I also shot them with the bazooka. I think the bombs really made it possible because they would get stunned when the bomb went off and didn't shoot me. It took me about 20 tries.
