The Spy

In the followers of the apocalypse they asked me to find a spy. Where is this spy? Is it that little freak in the basement?

The ending for this quest was never put into the game so you can't finish it. I've heard rumors that Katja is the spy, but I can't back it up.

Actually, the spy has been inserted to the european version only.It does not affect the game anyway.

I've got the European version of Fallout(also from Fallout 2). This mission doesn't exist. No1 sends you on a mission to find a spy. I guess this mission A:Doesn't exist.
B:Can't be completed.

Are you talking about spy at the Cathedral? I met her, I think her name was Lucy. She show me how to get to Master and then she return back to Followers.
I think that complete quest was to destroy Cathedral and kill Master, but I wasn't "tough enough" at this point to try it, so I return back to Hub, did some quests for Brotherhood first and also destroy Military Base. At the end of game I get movie that Followers was destroyed by remnant of mutants, but maybe if I do their quest just like they want to, end may be different. I may try it sometime.
I also have one question - can I become paladin or scribe in Brotherhood? Or at least convince them to help me to kill Master ?

It doesn't exist. As for LAURA, she was a double agent.

I dont know which version you guys have, but I have the german version and there the spy DOES exist (really, Im not joking).It isnt really a quest. She just shows you the way to the secret rooms of the Cathedral and goes away, nothing special. The followers get killed anyway at the end.

It seems there's some confusion about which spy we're talking about. There are two spies actually. Laura is a spy for the followers in the cathedral and there's also a spy for the master snooping around at the followers library. However the ending for this quest was never put into the game so there's no way to find out who it is. Although there are rumors that Katja is actually the spy for the mutants...

If my memory serves me right you get the spy quest from the leader of the followers (can't think of her name right now). You might have to talk to the ghoul in the library downstairs first. You can get the quest, but unfortunately you can never solve it. FYI, I have an english european version of the game, but I think it's the same for the german version.

Well, you can find Laura in the Cathedral in the European version. But there's no spy in the Followers' libary.

Heh, you haven't been paying attention :-) Ok, for the last time: in the followers library you can get a quest to find a spy for the children of the cathedral. Unfortunately you'll never be able to complete this quest because the ending was never put into the game. So there is a spy in the followers library, but there are no means to find out who it is.
