Water Merchants

What are the bad sides of hiring them. I've heard things (In Walkrthroughs) about it getting attacked, but???? Didn't happen when I did it. Yes, I realize I only did it once, but what the heck happens if anything bad happens at all?

If you call the merchants for help, you have 100 days more to find the chip but less time to finish the game.If you do not finish the game quick enough, the vault get inveded by the mutants.

So... Instead of dying of thrist, they get killed by mutants? Because that's what it sounds like you're saying.

That is correct, but only if you don't finish the game in time. Personally I wouldn't hire those money grubbing bastard. Especially not if you already know where the chip is.

Does it show them getting attacked by mutants? Or is it the same video you get after you're dipped?

Yeah, its just that same security camera vid you get after the getting dipped one, if you surrender to the mutants.

Not exactly. Although you won't have to worry about your own vault Necropolis and Shady Sands will be invaded if you take too long.

I do, the only thing I regret about FO1 is that they took out the option to join the master and the mutants. I heard the wav file of that ending and it would be perfect for the evil character I'm playing now :-).

hold on how can you get dipped? Is it becuz of that Lou i think he injects you with a needle right? Becuz he talked to me and told me too stand still so i killed him and everyone in the base oooooh the glory.

You'll get dipped when you tell the lieutenant the location to Vault 13.
