A wacky(most likely unknown) easter egg!

Hello.
I have only recently been introduced to the wonderful Fallout world and am currently going through the game for the first time(version 1.00). And guess what? There's a possibility I found a new easter egg! It certainly isn't mentioned on any site I've seen. Anyway,I was travelling from San Francisco to Navarro for the second time(the first time I was there I did get the Vertibird plans but I wasn't strong enough to take out the Commander(I'm playing Narg),so I did some shopping) and somewhere in the middle of the journey a circle marked with "unknown" shows up. The lightning bolt that marks an encounter lights up,but this time it's sorrounded with a red circle. When the encounter loads up,there's a really wacky sight to behold. A crashed Star Trek shuttle!:) I kid you not,it was a Star Trek shuttle(from The original series I believe) marked with BOC(or something like that) and a series of numbers, with "USS Torres" inscribed below it. There were 3 dead redshirts tossed around and two of them had "hypos".:)

I don't know if this is old news to you folks or not,but I was laughing so hard I simply HAD to post about it!

Those kind of encounters are called special encounters. There are among a couple of them, some more useful than others. They are considered part of the game, althrough the humor involved certainly are easter eggs.
Since stimpack is moderately abundant in Fallout, The Star Trek special enoucnter were not very useful. (the hypos only give you 1 life recharge)

That's not true. The number of hypos you find are random. And they are very handy as they work like superstims but without the negative side effects.

i didn't say how many hypos. I say 1 hypos give u a life recharge. They aren't that helpful because there's so few of them. Sure they're better than super stims, but normal stim are also pretty cheap. To be useful, i need a whole suitcase of them (more than 25 or so)
