a wicked way to kill horrigan in 1 round, using enclave agai

an idea- untested yet - use the serum from the Enclave Doctor in NCR to kill him.

Have you tried it? I suspect it will not work, even though according to the fallout bible it should. But if it does not work, you can take the explanation that Horrigan's armor is too hard to be penetrated by the needle.

Cristian Golumbovici says in his walkthrough that he tried it and that it did not work. In technical terms Horrigan is not a super mutant, he's a Big Bad Boss.

I hadn't tested it, I just thought it was a clever possibility, but I guess I was wrong. sorry.

In fact, the serum also DOES NOT WORK on mutants near the military base.(in combat mode)

The serum would not work Only if you are in combat mode. I found out about this after I managed to sneak up on some SM in the military base and used it on him(her? sorry, can't tell:D).

This is only half correct. If you enter combat mode, use the serum and then leave combat mode (can be done on Grundel inside the base who turns his back), he dies. Only if you kill the mutant while still in combat mode does the serum not vanish.

Ain't I knowledgeable? :)

Oops, I guess Starseeker's post said pretty much the same thing, but not nearly as comprehensively. Har har! *pow* Argh
