In the general forum i read that there was an alien rifle in Fallout 2 ,okay i know that there is a Sollar Scorcher but is there trully an alien rifle???

Yes. You can find it by traveling the squares north of Modoc. It might take some time but you'll run into a trader named Willy. See what he's got. He doesn't always have the thing, it depends on your level and i think that the level requirement is 15 and even then he might not have it.

There'll be more detailed info on this in the next version of the guide. Basically it works like this: There are 25 weapons in all that Willy can have. Effectively there'll be fewer choices at any given level because of min and max levels (the Alien Blaster is level 13+). At level 13, for instance, there's 1 chance in 9 the Blaster is selected. At level 21 and onwards it's 1 chance in 7. However, if the Blaster is selected you must also pass a LK check or the result is rerolled.
