Bishop shoots me!

When I bring the briefcase to Mr. Bishop upstairs in New Reno, he says thanks and all that, but adds that "There is a note in here that says I can't trust you farther than a snake can shit". Well...in those basic words. And then attacks me! I've tried doing it FIRST THING when I enter New Reno (without speaking to any other mob families) and he's still pissed. What did I do? And will affect my game any? (ie, am I missing out on some great missions?)

RE: Bishop shoots me!

Personally, I refuse to do any of Bishop's missions.

However, I believe that if your conversation goes a little astray with the guy in Vault City who gives you the briefcase, then he will poison your chances with Bishop.

Bishop is an evil man. I prefer to just sleep with his wife, steal all the stuff in his safes and sneak on out, with him never knowing it.

The other crime families are no picnic either, but the Bishop family is the worst. It's a lot better to just buddy-up with the Wrights, and screw everybody else over.

RE: Bishop shoots me!

Can I sleep with his wife without giving the briefcase? I found his daughter, but not his wife. Where is she? Thanks for the help. By the way, I'm taking your advice. I'll screw the Bishops (literally) and check out the Wrights.

RE: Bishop shoots me!

(Sorry it took me so long to reply, I was out)

Bishop's daughter is in the hallway, and his wife is in the first room right before the hallway begins.

(She's dressed in a black leather dress, you can't miss her... ;))

After you "do the deed", talk to her after she drops off. She will mumble the combination to the safes. Disarm and unlock them, steal everything, and then SNEAK out down the staircase.

(Bishop will kill you if he sees you, but his guards are just like, "Whassup d00d, how r u?" Yes, they're morons... :D)

I picked the Wright's because they are less evil than the rest of the bunch. Try to do as many missions as you can for ALL the families, just be careful you aren't christened a "Made Man", which would mean you can't do any other family's tasks.

(You usually are made "Made" after two missions or so, so just don't come back after a few)
