Dogmeat

I heard dogmeat was a good NPC is this true ?
suuuuuuuuuuure I know that Dogmeat is every ones fav. dog but still how would dogmeat do it against K9

and what about the other cybernetic dog ?
and laddy ?

Dogmeat would kill them all, having the largest crit hit ability of any NPC, and a 2/3 knockdown, from what I hear.

He's very good, and best to have go after someone to knock them down so you can do a god eye shot or crippling shot.

In the stats which you can see, it rocks dogmeat away besides of the HPs. And the stats which don't can see (besides you use an editor) it rocks dogmeat away with the damage restistances if I remember it clearly.

So can dogmeat survive a burst atack at point blank range.
I know K9 (sometimes) can

Dogmeat has armour equal to Metal Armor for the first 4 levels, then upgrades to Mark II. K-9 has armour somewhere between Combat Armor Mark II and Power Armor, but *only* on level 1... after that, it drops down to even worse than Metal Armor. This is probably a bug in the critter definitions. I think the two are comparable when it comes to combat skills, K-9 has better HP (not at the highest level, but you get him pretty late in the game anyway), and I think K-9 has better damage.
