Elevator in SAD?

How do you get the elevator in SAD working?

Find an eye (you heard me) and use it on the retina scanner which is located just besides the elevator.

Alternatively if you've got a good lockpick still and ELP MK2 there's an elevator on the left of the complex that services all 4 levels.
