Gecko and the Damn Holodisk!

Does anyone know what to do with the final Holodisk you get that have finincial data on it? I've been to McClure but no dialogue option presents itself and I made sure I had it in my directory, not an NPC's. I can't figure what to do with it!!!!!

Anyone!!!! :'(

I am running the game as 1.02 already, I got it from this site. I haven't got the americans children one though... do I need that too?

If i remember correctly. You got to tell McClure that VC has a part to save the powerplant and if you already got it from him talk about optimizing the plant. After that you get a thread that lets you give the holodisk to him.

You even don't need to have stoped te leakage from the nuclear plant. If you have the economic data, you only need to talk to him about Gecko plant and you should be able to give him the disk (and collect the XP)

Nope, All he says is "Yes, you mentioned that. Well done."... I don't get any threads to talk about geckos plant about from "About Geckos Plant..." and that is the one that brings up the forementioned response.

Is it a bug!!! Get a moderator or someone!!!

Noooooo! Don't give anyone the holodisk! Drop it in the middle of the wastes and forget about it. The disk outlines Broken Hills' supply chain to Gecko, and when Vault City has it, they can invade Gecko and kill them all.

Literally, giving McClure the economic data disk will destroy Gecko. If you want the exp, go into the Renewer's lair, and kill the rat down there. These two actions will save Gecko, I think.
