Hi, new to the game and to the board...

Just wanted to say hallo... i had f2 long time ago but i never got the time to enjoy it...
now i decided to play it again...

I was really stuck with the car thing and i decided to find out some walkthrough to find out what i did wrong...

unfortunately i have the european version... so no kids... so none to give the nixon doll to etc etc etc...
there is another way to get the part from the ghoul in gecko?

and another annoyin thing is I repair the powerplant, i get the second quest from the ghoul engenieer... but when i walk the first door after they start shootin me... ending in a bloodbath... not that i care too much... but i loose a NPC, and reputation and also a bit of karma...
its a bug? it happend to some of you?

Welcome.

You can get wrenches in other parts of the game. You can find some in Redding, New Reno and San Fran and in the VC vault. You can use one of those.

The Gecko powerplant bug is a known bug in the unpatched version. Patch your game and it will not occur anymore.

i did patch it, but the only visible thing that happend is the icon in the main folder of fallout is a wierd face now... umpf...
i dont know if i have to restart from the beginnin thing that is sincerely a bit annoying...

thx for the hints i'm continuing the "ghoul slayer" karma, so i just blown the mechanics and i got the part for the car...
unfortunately i recieved also the "berserker" karma... so sulik refused to follow me more... its a really bad thing? not for sulik... but for the rest of the game?
