highest hit points possible?

I'm maxed out at level 99 and have 726 hit points. pretty cool. does anyone know the total hit points possible to attain?

The highest number of hit points possible is 999. I'm pretty sure the only way you can achieve it is by using an editor.

or i think you can by using the Fallout 2 guide that the priest in New Reno gives you after you beat the game...but thats the same as using an editor

It's possible WITHOUT the an editor if you get 2 ranks of Life Giver (4 hp extra level/rank) early enough and high endurance (you can gain about 5 or 6 hp/level with high endurance)

4 (hp/level) x 98 + 36 (starting hp) = 432 hp

2 x 4 x 81 = 568 extra hp.

432 + 568 = 1000 hp

Since you can get 2 ranks of life giver by level 18, it is technically possible to get 999 hp without cheating.

I've never found high hp important at all. Good armor is a higher priority for me. Most ignore-armor-critical hits I get usually does well over 100 hp more damage than my char has. LOL.
