I found a new perk!

Believe it or not I did, not sure if anyone else found it but here's what happened.

I have a female player whom is very stupid (int 3) I thought of playing Fallout 2 as a retard so ... anyway I went to vault city and used the autodoc in the courtyard for 400$. After I got healed I had a dialog option like "me wanna ride again!" or something and I picked it, afterwards I got something called "Autodoc raised hitpoints" and my hitpoints went up +2, but if you "ride the autodoc" a third time you lose the extra hp.

One problem, despite the added bonus and the autodoc raised hitpoints in the character info whenever i clicked on the name the game crashed. So I think it's bugged. But this is no lie, you can test it for yourself.

Great! I've been on to this since I "hacked" the text files, but I didn't know how to get it (I tried buying healing 100 times with a non-stupid character, nothing happened). In the text file for the courtyard doc you'll in fact find three different messages relating to changed hit points, namely +2, +4 and -2. If you found the +2 and -2 ones that means one still remains to be found.

There's a total of 8 hit point perks: all combinations of Alcohol/Autodoc Raised/Lowered hit points I/II. One alcohol perk has been found in the Parlor Room, as I reported earlier, and judging by the text file there should also be one from there that will lower your HP. So it looks like at least five of the 8 perks are actually "in the game".

Pretty good job on BlackIsle's part I should say, or interplay but they're not too high only list of "good companies" I mean, I bought BG: Original Saga because I owned BG but didn't have tales expansion and it's riddled with bugs that totally blow the game for SBLIVE users, and they have NO plan on patching it or anything.

P.s - I should probably point out that this trick for autodoc raised hp will probably not work if you repair the autodoc...unless you can get the hp, repair then use it again for the extra hp?

OOOpppps, sorry, boys, this one has also been around for quite a while. In fact, I believe it was mentioned by several veterans during a interview with Chris. Good try, though.

You have just been promoted to private first class in the FO club. Ha, ha, just kidding, we don't rank people at all actually.

The thing is most of these stuff never comes up for discussion bec. most veterans knew them and most newbie don't ask questions about them. That's why nobody says anything about it.

It doesn't count if no one put it in a walkthrough.

Actually in my notes from going through the text files I had a line that goes "stupid vc autodoc", so I'd have found it in a few days anyway. Once I'm done this game will not have been 100% mapped, but pretty damn sure 99,99%. Geronimo!!! *splat*
