I need some tips

I've gotten to Navarro, and I know how to get into the base. The problem is.. how do i get the plans.. I've already accessed the computer and I know where they are. I just don't know how to get the access to the files I need. I've tried the guard duty thing.. but i just end up standing around for obscene amounts of boring time wanting to fry the gate guard every time he comes around.

Should I just continue waiting at my guard post? Does anyone know how long the shift is? Is there another way of getting the plans for the vertibird without having to try and kill everyone in the base (which in my case, wouldn't be wise since my energy weapons skill is low..). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do not do the guard duty. Go to the building just to the east of the one where you should do guard duty. Talk to the guy in the white coat and ask about the plans. Then go to the building just east of that and talk to the guy standing in the top most part of the building. Ask about the plans and say that a tech told you to get them. He'll ask if it was Raul that told you that. Tell him it was Raul that told you to get the plans. He'll let you take them out the locker that is just behind him.

Or you can avoid the whole running around fiasco and use sneak before opening the locker and getting the plans. They wont mind if they don't know your there. But save before ya do this. And guard duty is forever, literally.

SAVE, and then set some plastic explosives to 30 seconds and use steal to plant them into the guys inventory, then walk a few feet away and he'll go boom. No one even cares that hes in many small pieces. Its a great way to kill annoying people.

Better yet just kill everyone in Navarro, they are all evil anyway. Except for the deathclaw...
