Killed Llyod and didn't lose any karma

I am not sure if this is a bug or not
but i got Llyod to take me to get the money
i let him go after he finish digging the hole and open the manhole.

Then i shot him in the head and knocked him unconscious...
then i placed the plastic bomb on him then BANG!!
he is dead and i didn't lose my karma...

Of course, there's less chance involved with the silent stim death, but who wants to waste those rare and expensive items on *Lloyd*
