Marrying the girl in Modoc

Can anyone tell me how I marry that chick in Modoc. Her dad keeps coming in. I heard something about pressing O or Zero to get to the chapel. HEEELLLP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RE: Marrying the girl in Modoc

You need some good charisma. Also, you have to treat her like a lady. If you talk to her the right way, she'll strip you down and have her way with you. Yeah baby! Oh behave :)

Daddy shows up at the worst possible time, a la American Pie 2. Then it's off to the chapels for the shotgun wedding. A smooth talker with good doctor skills can weasel his way out of the marriage though.

You can also marry the guy, and get a divorce should you wish. And as the box says, 'Pimp your wife'.
I don't think either of them can level up, or if they do, they gain next to no abilities.

RE: Marrying the girl in Modoc

What you said is true, however there is a nice trick to beat the NPC limit the game forces you to withstand. With a CHA of 10 (or 8 and the magnetic personality perk) your max NPC number is 5. Well if you got the money and the patience and are ready to assault (ala Natural Born Killers) the Enclave Oil Rig, you can cheat the engine. Get your 5 brutes (you have to decide which ones are you going to take before you add the sixth because thereafter you shall not be able to remove and add another member [or get them back]) and get your butt to Modoc and marry Miria (seduce her by acting as the shy and innocent guy or girl) or Davin (if you are a fag or a girl). Presto you got 6 NPCs and you can even give Miria some Power Armor to improve her survivability (give her a Mega Power Fist so she can actually scratch their opponents...)...I know Miria and Davin can't fight squat even when fully leveled but when you assault the Oil Rig (guns blazing) you need every man (or woman or robot or mutated deathclaw, cyberdog or whatever) you can take with you. And in case you don't know, you should stick to the NPC's weapon preferences rather than forcing them to use weapons they are not accustomed to. What I mean is look at Sulik's skill, its Melee. He says he can use SMGs but even with the best SMG (I think its the P90c or is it the H-K G11E?) he won't do as much damage as if he had the best melee weapon (Super Sledgehammer). In characters where there are no special weapon skills, use your imagination (you can give Myron and Lenny; Pulse, Plasma, Laser and even Gauss and the Alien Blaster pistols...use them wisely).

Just use the first or last excuse.

RE: Marrying the girl in Modoc

Never had 6 members, well I might have done once. I had Gorthar leave me because he needed to run and help his people, so I got a full party of adventurers to the Enclave anyway. I was surprised to find him levelling up despite not being with me.

As to assaulting the base all guns blazing. I usually do it with 2 people. Me and Vic. Both with Power Armour, and him maxed out with a Guass Rifle, me with Sniper Perk, Better Criticals, 10 aps, Faster Rate of Fire Perk + a Bozar/Vindicator and Guass Rifle. And the LE Red Ryder BB gun for fun.

It gets less messy with 2 people and for some reason, Vic is the only other person who can sneak into the base without raising the alarm. I've done it several times and I know I'm not the only one. However, the Turrets and Robots usually shoot us. I don't think with decent armour and plenty of stim packs - you should have about 80+ and 15+ super ones at this stage that it's that difficult blasting through the complex. Especially once one level is cleared and you get Cassidy and the rest in on the action. Great fun though.
