[FO2] Military Base crash

Military Base crash

Every time I try to enter the M.B. after blowing open the entrance, the game chrashes. Same thing happens in Klamath when trying to enter vertibird site. I have winXP, AMD cpu.

Is anything relevant there for finising the game or can I skip it?

BTW, I have UK low violence version. Is there a patch to upgrade to violence version? (I know there was one for Fallout 1 since I had same UK version as Fallout 2)

you need not wrry. the vertibird part of klamath has no relvant affect to the game so you can skip it. as for the military base, there is nothing there exept a shit load of mutants with alot of weapons. it also has no affect on the game. so you see u have no need to enter these areas. hope that helps.

one can get the PE Upgrade and some test objects for the mutant serum as well as power armor, gauss pistol and some other goodies, although you can get those at SF, too

You would just miss out on some exp and the PE Upgrade so to say
