Military Base & Enterance

Yes... the home of very large mutants... a large complex filled with radiation and dangers. Of all the things to stop me... I can't open the door.

After killing the wild dogs, I still find myself outside looking at the collapsed enterance with the mining cart. I guess my question is: How do I attach dynamite to the pole on the cart? I'm using the pole on the cart to attach it, but I can't figure out how to attached the dynamite to the end of the pole like it says. It just drops to the ground. Playing with a rope doesn't seem to be helping and will probably end up choking me at this rate.

Spending an hour already with the bloody cart, I think I'll just wander around for xp for now, but the Power Armor and Gauss Pistol sure are nice...
Can anyone enlighten my dull brain?

First off, go sheck out the No Mutants map for the Military base. But, I'll tell ya what to do. Near the cart on the sidewalk there should be a metal pipe. Pick it up. Go over and use it on the cart(Get the hand, then hold down the left mouse button, scroll down to the backpack and choose the pipe) Then, attach a dinamite to the pipe(Using the same process. Just use it on the pipe.)

And Viola, you're in. Also, I recommend just killing the Main mutant on level four before he does anything.

Hehe,

I already had adv. power amour by the time I did the military base so I just let the guy call his pets while I crippled him with the bb gun, But them he ran out of pets so I made him crispy with the pulse rifle.
