[FO2] My fallout 2 freezes!!!HELP PLZ.

My fallout 2 freezes!!!HELP PLZ.

I can alwayz install fallout 2 but as soon as I start it up it freezes after the loading screen!!!I also noticied there is now an error in my system that sayz hard drive ide controller error.I dont get it though.the rest of my gamez and my system works fine.I reinstalled fallout 2...that didnt work...I rebooted my whole SYSTEM!!....that didnt work either.wth?I ran fallout 2 on the same computer before and I had finished the game.Anyone wanna tell me whats wrong now?!!please.....

im not sure why your computer woul do this but thats not important.look around for patches and you should find one that will solve your problem. im not sure what patch it is but just look at the descriptors and get the one you need and download it. if that doesnt work than you'll need either to play it on another computer or get a new game.

Or if you are on winXP you gotta run the install file in compadibility mode.
