My villagers are revolting!!

After the Temple of trials I get the quest to kill the plants. As soon as I go near them everyone - even the shaman - goes hostile!! I'm playing the UK version with the 1.02 UK/international patch downloaded from this site. Help or it's going to be a very short game.

I have no idea what's going on there, the only reason I'm posting is cause I thought the title was funny.

You could try a new chr, I mean, temple of trials is hardly near the end.

Try this it worked for me:
after you kill both plants (make sure u dont hit anyone else) make one *end turn* and then just *end combat* if thet dont work you probably have to start over (a bummer since you´ve gotten so far in the game)

He said he had finished the temple of trials, thats not far into the game. I'd say that the temple of trials is around 1% of the game, or less...

Simple answer: don't do the quest. It's hardly any xp anyway.
