[FO2] myron dying in end credits... how to prevent this??

myron dying in end credits... how to prevent this??

i was told to bring this question to you fine people...
i just recently beat fallout 2 for the first time, and in the end game sequence (where it tells you what happened to all the towns and things based on what you did), it said that myron died less than a year later when he was stabbed by a jet addict while drinking in the den. now, i know a lot of people don't like myron, but i thought he was cool. and it pissed me off that he died after i finished the game.
i was thinking since events turn out differently for everyone based on what they do, maybe i did something bad during the game that caused this as a punishment. maybe it was because i had childkiller? gravedigger?
if anyone know how to prevent this from happening, or the reason behind it, i would appreciate a reply. thanks.

I think the only way would be to never encounter him... But that wouldn't be any fun.

Please don't post a thread like this again. Some people don't know about Myron dying in the end. At least write something like 'About Myron...Spoiler' I'm just trying to protect the rights of those that haven't fininshed yet. I know i would like others to treat me with the same respect.

To answer your question, I'm pretty sure he will die no matter what you do. He was simply too stupid and arrogant to NOT come to a bad end eventually... *shrug*
