NCR....Ratch and the blower....

Does Ratch's blower ever work???? he finally said he installed it but it never changes anything about the car.....i'm thinking i just got hosed for a grand.

I'm not sure if the blower actually does anything or not. But we all know why it's there. A blower named Claudia... who could miss that one?

I'm not 100% certain but I think it makes the car go faster, that was the impression I got the last time I had it installed. If you've saved the game before getting it fixed, try making a journey across the desert without it, then reload with the 'upgrade' and attempt the exact same trip. Compare time taken and fuel consumption and you'll have your answer. I'm surprised very few if any people have tried a similar experiment. I'm one of them. Who hasn't that is.

It does make the car go faster, but it eats up more fuel if you don't install the fuel cell regulator.

Come off it, no-one ever forgets to install the fuel cell regulator, it's like one of the very first things you do, go and get it.
