Hi there, nice forum =).
Sooo I started playing Fallout 2 a few days ago and there's one thing that I find weird: I can loot almost every container in shops, homes, offices etc. right in front of the NPCs and only like 1 out of 5 times an NPCs tells me not to touch that...
So far I mostly found stimpacks or random junk that way, so I didn't care that much. But now I am lvl 7, just bought the 2nd gun in my game (the 44 Magnum) and headed for Redding.
First thing I did: Head to the sheriff, tell him I'm all outta of gum (
) and then grabbing the hunting rifle and shotgun including ammo and stimpacks from the lockers that he is directly looking at!
That's a bit too much free stuff for my taste, so I gotta ask: Is that an unfixed bug or did I apply something uncorrectly? Or is it actually supposed to be like that?
Any help appreciated
.
regards!
p.s.
I am using killap's unofficial patch 1.02.27.3, the resolution patch 2.2c and the ddraw.dll from sfall 2.20 (also installed in that order).
