Hi there, nice forum =).
Sooo I started playing Fallout 2 a few days ago and there's one thing that I find weird: I can loot almost every container in shops, homes, offices etc. right in front of the NPCs and only like 1 out of 5 times an NPCs tells me not to touch that...
So far I mostly found stimpacks or random junk that way, so I didn't care that much. But now I am lvl 7, just bought the 2nd gun in my game (the 44 Magnum) and headed for Redding.
First thing I did: Head to the sheriff, tell him I'm all outta of gum () and then grabbing the hunting rifle and shotgun including ammo and stimpacks from the lockers that he is directly looking at!
That's a bit too much free stuff for my taste, so I gotta ask: Is that an unfixed bug or did I apply something uncorrectly? Or is it actually supposed to be like that?
Any help appreciated .
regards!
p.s.
I am using killap's unofficial patch 1.02.27.3, the resolution patch 2.2c and the ddraw.dll from sfall 2.20 (also installed in that order).
