Please help me! RE: no 20MB for playing???????

I have played fallout 2 on a pentium 4 windows xp computer for 4 months without problems. When I first installed it, it told me that I didn't have the 20MB of free hard disk to run the program. I simply reinstalled it with the humongous installation. Now, with power armour and about to leave for the enclave, it happens again!!!! I just can't face restarting for the third time!!
Please reply

I suppose your problem has something to do with the Windows XP hard disk file system (NTSC or sumthing like that), since fallout2 is old game and is meant for FAT/FAT32 file system and older operating systems. I have XP too, but I still have FAT32 hard disks and my fallout2 works perfectly!

NTFS. It shouldn't matter that you installed it on such a partition, though I can't say that for sure since I never tried it. Running in fat32 too.

Try this

Rightclick on Fallout2.exe or it's shortcut -> Properties -> Compability -> Run this program in... -> Windows 95

(Not sure about the words, had to translate from swedish =))

I tried. NTFS, FAT32, doesn't matter. Running just as beautifully. :)
