Possible spoiler.......alternative route to Enclave

when you acess the Shi computer (or it could be the BOS comp.) in San Fran it says that there are over 1000 ways to get to the Enclave oil rig, but only two are acessable by you. One is the tanker, which i know about, the other is by Vertibird. Is it possible to get to the Enclave by Vertibird? At Navarro maybe?

Actually, the tanker is the only way to get there.

If you can find a pilot perhaps you can go to Enclave. The problem is, is there any Enclave Verti-Pilot wanna do that?

You can only get to the Enclave on the tanker. That's it. Drop it.

That's correct, there is only one route to the Enclave. I think they were just discussing the theoretical possibility of getting there by other means, and there's nothing wrong with that now is there? And it's true, that the game acknowledges the possibility of getting to the rig by vertibird (even more than once), but they never made it actually possible to the player.

yeah, but i think it'd be hella cool if they DID make more than one way to get to the enclave...it'd make the game more fun and extend the replayability...
